It weighs about 150lbs not counting the glass top thats weighs about 30lbs.

New Baroque/Modern Lounge Furniture Rental Pieces

We got to use some of our new lounge furniture rental inventory for the

first time yesterday. It went to the Doubletree in Fountain Valley, the black

dance floor made everything really look nice. This setup uses 4 of our new

Tuft chaise lounges, 4 Hollywood regency coffee tables, 8 Marshmallow ottomans

and 8 cube side tables.

We will have more really gorgeous Baroque pieces coming in about 2 months, keep

in touch, these pieces will be completely unique to us and all custom made in Bright

Whites & Black.

Top 5 Popular Modern Lounge Chairs

Lounge chairs come in almost every shape and size, some for comfort some strictly for style. Here are a few of my Fav. well known pieces.

5. Egg Chair: Another timeless design that I can see in every magazine and want to see more.
Full pony version of this chair is a bit much but I love it, we sold one in Hot pink to a Hotel in
Beverly Hills a couple years ago...even had one go to a Cool Whip Commercial. This picture to the left is a white
vinyl chair we sold to a guy with a absolutely amazing
house in Palm Springs.

4. Panton Heart Chair: I love this chair they look so amazing in pairs but are kinda pricey
and with 40" across from wing to wing might be kinda big for some spaces.

3. Egg Shell Chair: Fiberglass is so awesome, seeing a fleet of these from my overseas supplier is even more awesome.. check out the empty shells in the back.

2. Barcelona chair: It's one of those chairs that can be in every movie and every magazine
and yet you still want to see more of them. The office set of the movie "Mr. Brooks" or
American Psychos living room set reminds us that even completely Mad men love the
Barcelona chair. What I like to do is order them in weird colors just to see how they turn
out, Like this last one we got in Bright Blue Vinyl with white straps.

1. The Ox Chair: the first time I saw one of these in person was awhile back picking up
props from Modernica in LA, I then looked at the price tag and said " No waaay" lol.
I have yet to buy myself one but I just love the look, love that it's not a horribly over
done and trendy piece. I almost ordered a set of 4 of them in Apple Green leather for
a client in Palm Springs but he didn't want to pay for them up front and that took
care of that, I would have loved to see that color in this chair in person.

Kid In A Candy Store

This is the first time I have been able to really redo the condo in over 3 years,
had a" guy on the couch" / Friend living with me for ever and over that time
my place slowly an then quickly became quite gross an non inviting. I would
never have guests over and it's sooo nice to finally be able to start over.

Owning a furniture company has really come in handy for this step of redoing
the condo, I don't want to say what it cost me (not much) but I was able to sell
4 Knoll reproductions sofas, Barcelona sofa/chair/loveseat, White egg chair and
it pretty much paid for every piece I wanted.

Imagine having access to ordering any Modern furniture piece your heart desires in
any color leather/fabric/vinyl that you would like, almost seems like a sin. I'm going
to have to pray awfully hard after ordering every piece I ever wanted in the exact color
that I wanted it in. Kid in a candy store x 100

The List:

1 B&B Tufty time sofa in white leather 2 piece sectional with ottoman

The rest will be a secret until I post pics when everything arrives, keep in touch
it is going to be sweet!

Everything should be here in about 6-7 weeks.... all custom made

Coffee Tables: Breuer or Pablo?

After choosing very unique pieces for our living room we got everything but a
coffee table and side tables. So I need to be creative and make sure they are
just a interesting of a piece as everything else.

The Mondo coffee table (Large white round table located at the top of the page in
my Header) : I love this piece and it would be absolutely perfect I think with the
B&B Tufty 2 piece sofa we ordered but it's really expensive, I found a brand new
one on Craigslist this week for $100.00 but the guy sold it before I had a chance
to go check it out =(

So My next idea:

If people call Marcel Breuer's table a "Coffee table" then we can also call Pablo design's
light up bench a "Coffee table"

They are almost exactly the same shape, Pablo bench weighs about 40 lbs more though.
In the movie the International with Clive Owen they used Breuer's table for a TV stand
and it actually looked really good....so we could go with the Pablo table for a TV stand or
use it for our coffee table, it is 14" High and would pair up nicely with the Tufty Sofas 15"
seat height.

Extreme Minimalist or No Furniture? =p

In the beginning there was dog pee stained carpet, No Bueno .
We ripped all the gray/pee color carpet out and had concrete floors
for a couple weeks and finally got laminate floors from Simple Floors.

The dining table and chairs are not going to be part of this project we
are not super happy with how much space they take up. They do
however look pretty sweet and are the only set of "Cup chairs" in
this blue vinyl color.
